China Anneng Construction Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned construction enterprise, is a pillar in China’s construction engineering and emergency response sector. The enterprise has engaged in the construction of several major engineering projects, including the Three Gorges Project, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, the West-to-East Power Transmission Project, etc. It also played a critical role in the rescue and disaster relief after the Yangtze River Flood in 1998, the Sichuan Earthquake in 2008, the Henan Floods in 2021, and several other severe natural disasters.
Making the most of its strength in water-related talent training, discipline development, platform building and international cooperation, IWHR will work with Anneng on R & D and application of technologies for emergency rescue, engineering construction, eco-environment improvement and other relevant areas.
Ideas were exchanged upon future cooperation between the two parties in hydrology and water resources, flood control and drought relief, anti-seismic engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydraulic structure, etc.
