- BIC led a delegation to Bangladesh to promote the HED technology
On March 20, 2023, BIC Wang Zhan, the manager of BIC led a team of three people to Bangladesh for a 10-day overseas market visit with the purpose of negotiating the HED technology and promoting the market. This is the first time that our company sent a team to make an overseas market visit since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019.
During this overseas market visit, the team of our company took the lead in inspecting the company's constructed projects and the sites of the projects under construction in Bangladesh.
The team inspected the site of Mahananda rubber dam project to know the progress of civil construction and follow up the progress of the project. They also met with SSRI, a civil construction company, to communicate with them about the rainy season construction and to discuss new project cooperation.

In the meantime, our team went to Chittagong to inspect the completed Bhara Shanka Flap Gate Pilot Project. This project is the EPC pilot project of our company in Bangladesh, which is highly valued by the local government.The dam is built near the estuary to prevent the seawater from flooding. We have tested the dam, hydraulic station and other equipment, analyzed the current use of the equipment, and sent technicians to the site to test and repair the equipment in the later stage.

During the trip, we also visited the local government agencies in Bangladesh, including Water And Sewerage Authority(WASA), Barind Multipurpose Development Authority(BMDA), Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation(BADC), etc., as well as SSRI, SAIF, etc, understand the local industry development status and introduced our company ‘s HED technology to the relevant design department, the company’s business layer in detail, the current results achieved in quality improvement, equipment rerouting, product development achievements, and the next development plan.
The heads of relevant departments and the senior management of the company expressed heartfelt thanks to our company for their all-round support and cooperation over the years, and expressed appreciation for the quality and stability of our products. The two sides discussed the specific matters of joint cooperation to develop new products.
Through this visit, our company has a deeper understanding of the quality evaluation and market share of our products in the regional market, deepened and expanded the communication channels between our company and the government of Bangladesh, and reached consensus with many customers on strengthening communication, enhancing cooperation and achieving high-quality growth. In the next step, the company will continue to improve the product quality, steadily explore the new product market, and further enhance the market share of the new type of HED products.
