On July 22, BIC visited Altay regional water resources and Hydropower Survey and Design Institute. Manager Wang gave a technical presentation on the Hydraulic elevator dam to the experts and technicians of Altay water resources and Hydropower Survey and Design Institute, and summarized the technical characteristics and problems of the dam type for the low head sluice gate commonly seen in the market. In particular, the advantages and disadvantages of the pneumatic shield gate and the hydraulic elevator dam were compared, so that everyone could have a more intuitive understanding of the technical characteristics of the hinge activity gate.
The general designer mentioned that in previous projects, they had built several air shield sluice gates. After several years of tests, they found that the air shield sluice has many criticisms. First, the dam body of the pneumatic shield gate is supported by the bottom air pillow, which is easy to deposit sediment, and the effect of drift and sediment discharge is poor. Secondly, the air pillow needs to be inflated regularly. In the case of incomplete inflation, the dam gate is very difficult to level, and the landscape effect is poor. Therefore, by comparison, our hinge movable gate widens the applicability to special working conditions, and can realize the function of discharging drift, sand and silt. As an integral hydraulic three hinge small angle support, it has a good landscape effect during flow, and can realize the opening and closing of single or multiple fans at any height.
The manual gate is developed on the basis of the hydraulic elevator dam. The original hydraulic and electric drive of the hydraulic elevator dam is changed to manual and manual drive, which not only reduces the cost, but also can be used in remote areas without power conditions, that is, the function of the gate dam can be realized, and the total project cost is relatively low and safe. During the exchange of hydraulic elevator dam technology, the company also expressed its preference for artificial gates, indicating that our new artificial gate products can be applied in remote areas without power conditions and inconvenient power switching, such as Xinjiang.
