BIC and RID Carry Out Technical Exchange Seminar

On September 27, 2024, Beijing IWHR Corporation and the Royal Irrigation Department of Thailand held a technical exchange seminar at the Southern Campus of IWHR. The agenda of the meeting was divided into five items.

At the beginning of the meeting, Wang Zhan, General Manager of BIC Branch, warmly welcomed the arrival of the delegation from the Royal Irrigation Department of Thailand. He then briefly introduced the IWHR and BIC, and collectively watched the publicity video of BIC and Hydraulic elevator dam.

On the second agenda of the meeting, Geng Yehan, Director of Design Department, gave a technical presentation on the hydraulic elevator dam, and systematically and comprehensively introduced the hydraulic elevator dam from several aspects including technical highlights, application prospects, engineering examples, and theoretical calculation basis.

Subsequently, both parties engaged in communication and technical Q&A, delving into the design details and calculation basis of the hydraulic elevator dam.

On the third agenda of the meeting, Li Yu from Design Department introduced the construction plan of the digital twin platform, which was divided into several parts: platform solution, SKY model and its application, and case introduction. Afterwards, we focused on showcasing the video effects of the hydraulic elevator dam intelligent water conservancy platform - digital twin system.

The fourth agenda item of the meeting, Yan Yongsheng, Vice General Manager of BIC Branch, presented a physical model of the hydraulic cylinder, allowing everyone to have a more intuitive understanding of the various components of the hydraulic cylinder and the working principle of the hydraulic cylinder assisting the dam surface.

At the end of the meeting, both parties took a group photo as a souvenir.
